I have taken to using mindmaps more again because they are quicker and I can see patterns better which helps in finding the main points in the story and the retelling, which requires rhythm.

The story about Peter and Cornelius is about inclusion, in this case, and the Missio Dei (God’s mission.)  I am deliberately moving in this assembly idea to getting the children to think about what it means to be inclusive, and what God means when he wants to include people.

Don’t worry about knowing exactly what I said, just take the words on the lines, look for the connections, and guess!  That way it will become your own.

It’s based in part on some stuff the SUPA club team wrote for last week on Peter’s Dream, called “Nobody’s excluded” when you search for it from Acts 10:30–48
